Meet the team!

Xin chào! My name is Christine! I am a born-and-raised Washingtonian, but you wouldn’t know it based on my love to travel, and especially my love for Tennessee (GO VOLS!) I am a junior at SPU, studying physics and military science. I am in Air Force ROTC at the University of Washington, and I absolutely love it. My dream was to be a pilot, but God has other plans for me and I will be entering the Air Operations field. I don’t plan on making a career out of the Air Force, and when I am out I plan on becoming a middle school science teacher.

College has been a great time for me; it has been an amazing journey of triumph and trials. Being selected for this SPRINT trip has definitely changed my life, and we haven’t even left the country yet! I know God is doing amazing things in my life, and the lives of my lovely teammates through this journey, and I can’t wait to see what comes of this amazing opportunity to work in Vietnam.

If I had to describe myself in three words, it would definitely be energetic, adventurous, and smiley! I have learned that life is so much more fun with a good attitude and a willingness to try something new or different. That being said, I am actually really nervous about eating food in Vietnam! Yes, I am adventurous, but I DON’T like seafood… I’ll try almost anything once or twice, but I might have a difficult time eating while we’re in country 😉

I am so excited and so ready for this trip, and embracing this amazing opportunity through SPU, SPRINT, and Fisher’s Superkids English Center. I know God has great plans for our team, and we thank you so much for supporting us with your thoughts and prayers!
